In a recent interview with IGN Benelux, Holland and Zendaya were asked whether or not the games were used as inspiration for certain sequences in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Although they didn&#039;t really answer the question directly, they did note that they&#039;re big fans of the game. &quot;We love the games, the games are absolutely sensational,&quot; said Holland. &quot;I&#039;m not very good at playing video games. I get very frustrated because I want to play it all by myself, and he&#039;ll try to come [help me],&quot; added Zendaya. The two then explained how Zendaya had troubles with a section in Marvel&#039;s Spider-Man 2. In the back half of the game, Mary Jane Watson gets taken over by a symbiote and turns into a villainous monster known as Scream. Zendaya noted that she had a lot of trouble with that portion in the game and, ultimately, Holland had to help her with it. This isn&#039;t the first time Holland has expressed his love for Insomniac&#039;s Spider-Man games. When promoting Spider-Man: No Way Home in 2021, Holland noted that Sony gave him a PS5 to play and he really enjoyed playing it. He stated that the team even copied one move from the game and added it into the film. Fans believe that the move is when Peter flips Green Goblin through the air before slamming him back into the ground, using his webs to propel them. After seeing Holland and Zendaya&#039;s comments about the games during the Brand New Day promo, Insomniac Games extended an invitation to have the two stars come visit the studio. Whether or not that actually happens remains to be seen, but it would be a great way to help promote the Brand New Day suit being added to Marvel&#039;s Spider-Man 2 next month. Hence, you’ll need to pair her with allies who can take play as a tank and provide heals (more on this later). Scatter Shot: While Scatter Shot requires you to reach Level 40, it’s one of the best options against bosses. The arrow remains lodged in the enemy, and raises damage taken by 100%. This effect increases based on the number of lodged arrows. If there are three or more lodged in the enemy, it also triggers bleeding, forcing the enemy to take more damage. Arrow Rain: This ability is the best AoE skill to unlock for the Ranger. It fires multiple arrows that deal damage to enemies trapped in the area. It’s not ideal against Stage Bosses, but great at clearing minions. Furthermore, it also serves a complimentary role with Scatter Shot.  Let’s now check out the best passives for Ranger.   Attack Damage: Buffs all types of attack, so this is a must-have for Ranger.  Critical Damage: The higher the value, the greater the damage. Get all three upgrades for this passive, as it will significantly raise the DPS.  Increased Critical Chance Multiplier: This will raise the odds of a hit converting to a critical one. This works well when combined with the Critical Damage passive skill.  Projectile Damage Enhancement: Raises the damage inflicted by the Ranger’s arrows.  Life Leech: Once unlocked, this skill will help the Ranger heal herself by draining the health of her enemies. It’s a great passive healing option to have on the side.   For gear, aim at raising her damage as much as possible. For decorations, focus on raising elemental and physical damage to further boost her DPS over time. As for combinations, the Ranger works best with the Knight and the Priest. The Knight will act as the shield of the team, while the Priest will offer the necessary heals that keep everyone alive for a longer time. It&#039;s a friendly competition that carried developers Digital Extremes and Bungie from the 2010s into the 2020s but, when the latter announced it had shuttered all plans for future updates in May, both communities largely decided to lay down arms. As Destiny players come to grips with the end of what has evolved into a go-to video game for thousands, some members of the Warframe team have chimed in to bid them farewell. Everett elaborated on her feelings during a conversation with Eurogamer. &quot;Truthfully, it&#039;s heartbreaking. It&#039;s earth-shattering,&quot; she said. &quot;I never thought I&#039;d ever see the day where I&#039;d read an article from Bungie about Destiny 2 essentially shutting down.&quot; &quot;I&#039;m speaking personally, but I know people would echo it as well. After the announcement that support was winding down, Forbes reported that much of the studio&#039;s staff was unaware of plans to cease support until the public announcement. It means development on more Destiny content had continued even after the decision was made. The final update, Monument of Triumph, was launched on June 9. It&#039;s been a tough pill to swallow, and one that&#039;s resulted in Destiny fans signing petitions and flooding livestream chats, seemingly to no avail. Everett is one of many who saw fans flock to Destiny 2&#039;s aid in its final days but, for her, it&#039;s hard not to imagine the outcome if the cavalry had shown up sooner. &quot;I think what&#039;s unfortunate and sad is they announced this was happening, and suddenly people are showing all this support for them,&quot; she added. &quot;They&#039;ve been getting a lot of negativity for all this time, and it&#039;s like, where was all this love? People need to put the hate away and show the love, because they could have really used that. In a Dream Scenario for some, players will now be able to Face/Off with and play as the Hollywood actor, as you pick up 8MM ammunition when you’re feeling Wild at Heart and decide that it’s Time to Kill, proving you’re the Lord of War before using those Longlegs to sprint away from the scene and be Gone in 60 Seconds.  The shooter series has welcomed so many celebrities into its arms over the years that it may feel like Deja Vu, but no, Cage has never appeared in the game before — somewhat surprising for such a National Treasure. OK, that’s enough of that. Season 4 Reloaded sees arguably the biggest action star of the 90s, with films such as Con Air and The Rock being among his most beloved movies, join the fight as an operator. Arriving on June 25, it promises “blockbuster battles” and “absolute chaos”, which is emphasised in the all-action trailer, which ends with Cage walking away from an explosion in slow motion. Absolute cinema. It’s fair to say that Black Ops 7 hasn’t been the most well-received Call of Duty, with a sub-standard campaign at launch, followed by some unimpressive multiplayer additions, including a misguided Dave Chapelle tracer pack. But Treyarch hasn’t given up on this year’s release, recently adding a new classic mode that appears to have fixed a lot of issues players have had with the game. No matter how often the Call of Duty developers insist that each release won’t result in some sort of silliness, it always seems to find its way into the game, but at least this new Nic Cage addition is good fun. Here’s what players can expect in Season 04 Reloaded: Multiplayer: Multiplayer Maps: Breach a luxurious cliffside compound in the new Zenith, following a bloody handprint to the running water hidden below, then prepare for takeoff on the remastered Launch, returning from the original Call of Duty: Black Ops.Multiplayer Modes: Adapt on the fly in Team Blueprint Sharpshooter as Weapon Blueprints rotate throughout the match, earning bonuses for elimination streaks. Well, Grounded finally gave us the opportunity to do just that. And yet somehow I never played it. And then came the slew of survival crafting games that dominated the 2020s up until now.  It got to a point where if I didn’t see another survival crafting game, I’d be just fine. Image via Xbox Game Studios I’m no longer scared of spiders, having “beaten” my arachnophobia, so when the spider warning popped up, I scoffed. Spiders are my friends, and they catch the bugs that are actually dangerous, so no sweat there.  Flash forward, and I’m exploring. I find this action hero head and check it out. I leave the hill, hear something, and turn around. There’s a big, BIG spider right there. I go to show my partner, and the spider turns around and leaves before she can take a look.  So I go back to the mound and look for the spider. I thought it was probably patrolling somewhere nearby, right? So I look around the hill, turn, and I’m face to face with this colossus.  So I scream like a girl, naturally, and run my little legs off, but it’s no use. My partner is crying with laughter while I’m dying from poison. Fun times, but that’s not the end of it.  I decided to learn on YouTube how to hunt Wolf Spiders, and I’m not even ashamed to admit it. This guide points out how stupid the AI is, and that I can just stand on some tree branch by the oak tree and finish the spider off with arrows. Fine, looks easy.  Turns out, spiders aren’t that stupid anymore. This thing runs off, and I’m just there waiting, like, when’s it coming back? Again, I hear something, look around, and this thing’s charging straight at me along the branch I’m on, like some nightmare version of an oncoming freight train.  Well, after that fiasco, I decided I’d do something a lot more cheesy but a lot safer. I’d shoot the wolf spiders under the oak tree and just run into the lab. Finally, I did it, I killed my first Wolf Spider. Sweet, sweet loot.  This becomes my spider farm. And to reframe this next story, I play a lot of horror games, and never really get all that freaked out. I’m not all that susceptible to jump scares, either, as a horror fan since early childhood.  So I’m in need of more Spider Venom Sacks, and I go to my now trusty spider farm. I shoot an arrow up the butt of one of the spiders, sprint into the lab, and wait. This thing doesn’t show up. I hear it lose aggro and walk away, so I assume it’s back in the tree.  So I leave the lab, VERY carefully, I might add, and head back to the oak tree. Only one spider. There were two. So… where’s that last one?  I turn around, head back down the little path, and it’s WALKING BACK UP from the other side, and we get face-to-face. I’m not sure who got the bigger fright, me or my partner reacting to my screech of terror. My heart didn’t slow down for a good thirty minutes after. Almost dropped the damn controller.  If you haven’t played it yet, you have been warned.  Apart from giving me arachnophobia again, the game is really, really good  Here fishy fishy. I’ve got better armor now, so the wolf spiders are less of an issue, though on days when my timing is off, a single one can still take me down.  I’ve since explored the depths of the pond, dodging that giant and grossly overpowered Koi fish, I’ve navigated the Haze and its sea of infected Larvae and Ladybugs, and I’m getting geared up to enter the sandbox, while loving every minute of it.  I’m kind of bummed at missing out on such a fantastic game all these years, but I’m definitely giving Grounded 2 a go next. <description><![CDATA[  Last week, I confirmed the Prime Day pricing for the GameSir G7 Pro, as well as a few of the brand&#039;s other controllers during the sale. The most recent PC version of the G7 Pro was missing from that list of discounted products though, which is to be expected when it&#039;s only been available for a little while. Walmart has remedied that, however, jumping the gun on Prime Day and dropping the best PC controller rival down in price by almost $20. Personally, I&#039;m not convinced this discount will last very long, either due to the deal ending or stock levelling out. Since I can&#039;t see the offer at any other retailer, I don&#039;t think it&#039;s an official one that&#039;s come down from on high either. As in, it doesn&#039;t seem like a GameSir-approved discount that&#039;ll apply to all the variants of the G7 Pro 8K at various stores, so let&#039;s take a closer look.  This price only applies to the Nioh 3 model, but it&#039;s the first time any variant of the 8,000Hz polling version of the G7 Pro has seen a price cut. The retail page may tell you it&#039;s got a larger saving of $58 due to a higher full price of $129.99, but that isn&#039;t the case. This, and the other licensed colorways of the G7 Pro 8K all retail for $89.99.View Deal Funnily enough, Amazon currently has no answer to the discount, despite Prime Day being the headline sale to look out for this week. In fact, the GameSir G7 Pro prices I reported on last week still haven&#039;t arrived at the retailer and likely won&#039;t until Prime Day officially kicks off on June 23rd. One upside of this, however, is that you don&#039;t need to take out a Prime membership or a free trial to make the most of it.  (Image credit: Future / Duncan Robertson) An equivalent deal doesn&#039;t exist at Best Buy either, which makes me think this could be a shorter-lived opportunity at Walmart. It also only applies to the Nioh 3 colorway, which may point to Walmart&#039;s stock of this particular model outweighing the other versions.  While you save $18 on the full price of the GameSir G7 Pro 8K, you do spend $8 more than you would on the regular G7 Pro if you were to wait for Prime Day gaming deals to officially start. For that extra money, you do unlock a much, much higher polling rate, which will absolutely be of interest for competitive players who want to rule out any chance of latency impacting their gameplay. You also get some swappable thumbstick tops that the regular version doesn&#039;t have, but you&#039;ll lose out on Xbox Series X/S compatibility.   (Image credit: Future / Duncan Robertson) Having gone hands-on with the 8K polling TMR controller, I can say it&#039;s definitely more responsive, but the increased polling rate doesn&#039;t present itself in the way some of you might expect. It essentially cranks the sensitivity of the thumbsticks up to 11, making them a tad unruly at first. Combined with custom deadzones and TMR technology, every tiny input on the thumbsticks will register, and register fast, so using it definitely takes some getting used to.  Personally, I don&#039;t think this model is going to be for everyone, partly because of that learning curve, but with even more ways to customize it, I&#039;d argue PC players should really think about investing the extra $8 for it over the original. The only limiting factor might be the colorways, since the regular white/grey and black/red options aren&#039;t available for the 8K model. Besides the Nioh 3 version, you can grab a turquoise Aimlabs edition (the one in the images that I reviewed) or a Champion black and gold colorway that&#039;s tied to an Esports athlete.
