Your suggestions are important to us, and we hope the Feedback Hot Charts will help us communicate and share our development plans and progress more openly.

Today, we'll reveal the results of the first Meta Hotline! As of May 13th, the Feedback Hot Charts standings are as follows:

Thank you for participating and showing us what changes the community wants most urgently right now. Details on our follow-up actions are as follows:

Top Feedback - New Weapons: When will new weapons be released?

Optimization Progress: Implemented in the May 13(PT) update. We establish long-term development plans for new weapons annually. In the May 13(PT) update, the highly anticipated new weapons have arrived! We've introduced two new weapons: AUG - Electron Cloud and Compound Bow - The Burden of Betrayal. Top Feedback - Tech Points: Not enough Tech Points

Optimization Progress: New ways of obtaining and redeeming Tech Points have been added in the May 13(PT) update. Since the revamp of the Tech system in v2.3.6, we've received a lot of feedback regarding the difficulty of acquiring Tech Points. We understand your urgency and have accelerated the development of ways of obtaining Tech Points as follows:

More Drops: Tech Point materials will now drop upon defeating Elites or Great Ones, or clearing Securement Silos or Monoliths. Additionally, new Tech Point rewards have been added to the Scenario Challenge system.

Redeem Tech Enhancement Points: After the May 13(PT) update, you can go to Challenge Shop > Tech Shop and spend 30,000 Tech Points to redeem 1 Tech Enhancement Point. There is no redemption limit, but all points are reset when the scenario ends.

We were also surprised to see many players dislike this suggestion. This has reminded us that the current optimization plan may not be the ideal solution for every player. If you have any opinions regarding the addition of new ways of obtaining Tech Points, please share your concerns and reasoning with us via the Feedback Platform. We will listen carefully to every perspective and refine the balance of the Tech system in future updates.

Top Feedback - Electric Furnace: Support various crafting formulas on a single Electric Furnace

Optimization Progress: Implemented in the May 13(PT) update. After our project team's assessment, we've concluded that this will greatly improve player convenience, while fitting perfectly with players' actual gameplay habits. In the May 13(PT) update, we've added the following Tech enhancement nodes: Hybrid Electric Furnace, Stardust-Powered Electric Furnace, and Recycling Electric Furnace. You'll be able to unlock Petroleum Process, Art of Stardust Decay, and Sulfur Chemist on the same Electric Furnace, avoiding multiple Electric Furnaces taking up the Player’s Facilities limit.

Top Feedback - New Map: When will a new map be added?

Optimization Progress: Development of a new scenario is progressing at full speed! As previously teased, the new scenario is based on ocean exploration, opening up the western region of Nalcott. A wider world awaits you! Currently, development of the scenario is making steady progress, and we plan to hold a small-scale confidential test in select regions starting June 17(PT). More information on the test and how to sign up will be announced via in-game mail and a future Dev Blog, please stay tuned.

Top Feedback - Item Locking: Add a function to lock specific items in the Backpack

Optimization Progress: Development priority has been greatly increased, with launch currently planned within 3 months. Regarding the item lock feature, our development team sincerely thanks you and apologizes. At first, we thought that the available weapon lock feature would be enough to prevent most accidental disassembly issues, and we did not give item locking the attention it deserved. Your overwhelming support for this suggestion has made us realize our mistake. After seeing all your likes for this piece of feedback, we have reassessed this function and decided to move it up in priority. As it requires modifying the basic data framework of the Backpack, and with many nodes having been launched recently, we will need about 3 months to ensure a secure and stable launch for this function. Thank you for correcting our priorities with your likes and for your patience as we work to refine the system.

Top Feedback - Portable Fridge: Add the Portable Fridge to the Tech tree

Optimization Progress: Making a comeback after the May 13(PT) update! Due to popular demand, the Portable Fridge will be returned to the Tech tree with the May 13(PT) update! You can unlock this Tech through reverse engineering, technological invention, or by spending Tech Points. We've also reduced the material consumption of its crafting formula, making it easier to craft your own Portable Fridge. Also worth noting is that the May 13(PT) update brings a comprehensive optimization of the Chef class. We hope the adjustments to the Chef class and the Portable Fridge will deliver a smoother survival experience.

That's all for this edition of Meta Hotline. Your feedback, including your likes and dislikes, is the foundation of Once Human's continued development. We will continue to monitor the Feedback Platform and listen closely to your views. Please keep sharing your honest opinions via the Feedback Platform. Your suggestion may make the next Hot Charts!
