Season 5 Security Report

Hey there!Since the launch of Arena Breakout: Infinite, the B.D.C. has been committed to fostering a fair and safe gaming environment. We have always upheld this core principle and will continue to carry on this legacy in every future season. Game-related violations (such as using or sharing plug-ins, actively teaming up with a cheating player, and other negative in-game behavior) continue to be a critical issue for us. We will proactively and severely penalize any offline transactions and any other actions that negatively impact the game. Even if the plug-in users did not eliminate anyone, they will still receive 10-year bans once we've verified that they used a plug-in to cheat. For players whose game environment seems suspicious (including but not limited to opening the game client under abnormal circumstances, using third-party plug-ins to access, read, or modify the game client, having game data that contains odd calibrations, etc.), we will first kick them from the raid or issue short-term account bans. Then, we will send video recordings of their matches to the Replay Expert Team or the Security Technology Team for evaluation. If they verify that there have been rule violations, stronger penalties will be implemented.Compared to past seasons, the security measures in Season 5 have seen significant improvements. The B.D.C. has also built new lines of defense in key security areas:Relentless Pressure on Cheat EvolutionThis season, some DMA-based cheats evolved into other forms, such as dual-PC setups (software-based connections between multiple devices), in response to increasing pressure from anti-cheat enforcement. Our security team rapidly upgraded its anomaly detection and auditing systems to maintain comprehensive coverage against emerging threats. This season, we implemented over 696 technical iterations, successfully disabling more than 2,748 types of cheats. This includes the "AI-powered aimbots" hack that has drawn considerable community attention recently. Under the B.D.C.'s maximum penalty of a ten-year account ban, it has not disrupted the in-game security environment.Intensive DMA Cheat CountermeasuresThis season, our DMA countermeasures have been comprehensively upgraded. On the protection side, enhanced data encryption effectively prevents DMA cheats from functioning. We have also improved overall solution stability through more frequent key rotation, concealed key storage locations, and stronger memory encryption. On the detection side, our hardware detection capabilities have been significantly enhanced. The precise identification of unauthorized firmware enables us to take large-scale enforcement actions against DMA cheat groups. This season, we penalized over 56,000 violations, including 4,900 accounts that received a 10-year ban.Stronger Crackdown on Teaming Up with CheatersIn past seasons, we achieved solid results in curbing teaming up with cheaters by linking the violation to additional supplementary penalties. In Season 5, we have expanded the scope of detection on top of our existing strategy. For severe cases involving cheater-assisted teaming using shared radar, penalties have been escalated to account bans of up to 3,650 days. This season, we have penalized over 6,500 players for this violation.Ongoing Monitoring of Illegal ContentB.D.C continues to enforce strict controls against abusive language, scam advertisements, and sexually explicit or inappropriate content in-game. A pre-filtering system has been implemented to prevent the spread of malicious content, while post-moderation models are used to detect and penalize violations. In addition, the reporting system is leveraged to impose stricter penalties on repeat offenders. This season, we have intercepted over 502,000 violating messages, 8,000 malicious nicknames, and over 243,000 illegal voice messages, building a comprehensive security defense for the game environment.Expanded Compensation for Plug-in EliminationsIn Season 5, we optimized the structure of our short-term penalty strategy, upgraded penalties for malicious repeat offenders, and expanded the coverage of elimination compensation to continue safeguarding your rights as a gamer. This season, we have issued compensation over 216,000 times, totaling over 241.1 billion Koen. The Season 5 Inspector Community has now been fully launched and is operating smoothly, with a large number of dedicated Inspectors actively working on the front lines. We sincerely invite more passionate Operators to join us in building a secure defense line. The fight against cheats is a long-term battle. The B.D.C. stands firm and is fully committed to safeguarding a fair gaming environment. In the new season, we will continue to uphold our zero-tolerance policy toward hacks, maintain a high-pressure crackdown, and protect every Operator's gaming experience.

Season 5 Security Report

Hey there!

Since the launch of Arena Breakout: Infinite, the B.D.C. has been committed to fostering a fair and safe gaming environment. If they verify that there have been rule violations, stronger penalties will be implemented.

Compared to past seasons, the security measures in Season 5 have seen significant improvements. The B.D.C. has also built new lines of defense in key security areas:

Relentless Pressure on Cheat Evolution

This season, some DMA-based cheats evolved into other forms, such as dual-PC setups (software-based connections between multiple devices), in response to increasing pressure from anti-cheat enforcement. Under the B.D.C.'s maximum penalty of a ten-year account ban, it has not disrupted the in-game security environment.

Intensive DMA Cheat Countermeasures

This season, our DMA countermeasures have been comprehensively upgraded. This season, we penalized over 56,000 violations, including 4,900 accounts that received a 10-year ban.

Stronger Crackdown on Teaming Up with Cheaters

In past seasons, we achieved solid results in curbing teaming up with cheaters by linking the violation to additional supplementary penalties. In Season 5, we have expanded the scope of detection on top of our existing strategy. For severe cases involving cheater-assisted teaming using shared radar, penalties have been escalated to account bans of up to 3,650 days. This season, we have penalized over 6,500 players for this violation.

Ongoing Monitoring of Illegal Content

B.D.C continues to enforce strict controls against abusive language, scam advertisements, and sexually explicit or inappropriate content in-game. A pre-filtering system has been implemented to prevent the spread of malicious content, while post-moderation models are used to detect and penalize violations. In addition, the reporting system is leveraged to impose stricter penalties on repeat offenders. This season, we have intercepted over 502,000 violating messages, 8,000 malicious nicknames, and over 243,000 illegal voice messages, building a comprehensive security defense for the game environment.

Expanded Compensation for Plug-in Eliminations

In Season 5, we optimized the structure of our short-term penalty strategy, upgraded penalties for malicious repeat offenders, and expanded the coverage of elimination compensation to continue safeguarding your rights as a gamer.
