Following this update, however, some AOS and iOS environments have been experiencing issues that prevented players from accessing or progressing through the game properly. The process of resolving these issues has taken considerable time, resulting in prolonged inconvenience.We sincerely apologize for the lack of stable service.Please refer to the information below on what has been confirmed so far and our planned follow-up measures.1. Impact of the Engine Upgrade- Following the Unity version upgrade in the 1.106.0 update on May 28, 2026, an issue occurred where certain resources required to run the game were not being loaded in the correct order- The resulting "unable to connect" issue was initially resolved through the update on June 1 at 22:002. Increased Memory Usage- Following the engine upgrade, the amount of RAM required during the game's launch process has increased- As a result, some devices are experiencing screen freezes, unresponsive game application, or forced shutdowns3. Current MeasuresTo resolve this issue, we are working closely with Unity's technical support team on memory optimization and other related work for devices experiencing the issue1. Below are the "devices prone to repeated forced shutdowns" as identified by our development team:AOS: Devices using Adreno 720 series GPUsiOS: Devices with 4GB of RAM or less, or devices running iOS 26.4 or later versions(* In particular, we have confirmed that iOS 26.4 and later versions exhibit higher memory usage by the operating system itself. As a result, the available RAM for game launch may become insufficient, leading to forced shutdowns)※ To set clearer specifications for stable gameplay, the minimum device requirements for Limbus Company will be adjusted.The updated minimum requirements and their effective date will be announced via a future notice.We are currently working to resolve the root cause of the forced shutdown issues occurring in both AOS and iOS environments.However, this issue involves several complex technical factors, including differences in OS versions, device-specific hardware specifications, and the engine's memory handling process.
