Mass Effect Goes First-Person In Wildly Different Experience

Mass Effect has always been, and likely always will be, played from a third-person point of view. It fits into BioWare's view of the RPG, a perspective that's as synonymous with the genre as slinging spells and clearing dungeons. Of course, that isn't to say that there can't be first-person RPGs (there are, after all, rather famous examples), as that would be ludicrous. Rather, it is merely to state that BioWare seems fairly set in its third-person ways, and that is perfectly fine.
