Arjun brings his cinematic mantra to Street Fighter 6 on October 13!
Breathe. Feel the energy flow through your body. Just breathe. And focus on these words: Arjun is coming to Street Fighter 6 on October 13. Whisper those words back to yourself for you’ll need all the patience you can muster to face this brute of a man hellbent on revenge. Before we begin, I want you to set your intention. That is, find it within yourself to walk in the shoes of Arjun. You see, he was once a police officer in India with a partner he would take a bullet for. Until one day, his partner was murdered and he was framed for the unfortunate event. Now Arjun searches for the truth behind these events vowing to let only his last breath keep him from justice. That’s right, a breath because that’s what I want you to do. Breathe in for three seconds. Now breathe out. Let’s begin.Let’s start with the Tree pose. Stand on one leg and place the sole of the other on your thigh while bringing your hands together and reaching your arms up. This will help you understand Arjun’s battle plan. What he lacks in speed he makes up for in power, projectiles, and traps, but what makes him even deadlier is the core of his move set: dealing recoverable damage, also often known as gray life in fighting games. As a reminder, recoverable damage is vitality that will heal over time if left untouched, but if you are hit, all of it will be removed in one fell swoop. As you will see, Arjun’s special moves will slowly turn your vitality gauge gray even if blocking. Then he will attempt to deplete it all in one seamless maneuver.Next, I’d like you to do the Warrior II pose. Engage your core as you take a wide stance, bend the right knee, and stretch your arms out to prepare for Arjun’s Arm of Justice, a versatile winding punch that will sap energy. A move that is safe on block for light and medium and plus on block for heavy. Arm of Justice has a follow-up attack that will allow him to be plus on block as well. The OD version of Arm of Justice is faster on start-up and is also plus on block. This move deals recoverable damage on block as well.Let’s do the Triangle pose next. I want you to stretch that right hand as high as you can to prepare for Cruel Shoulder, a lunging forward tackle. The light and medium versions are not safe on block. The heavy version is slow but is plus on block. The OD version behaves the same as the heavy version but is faster on start-up. You’ve been paying attention because I see you noticed this move also deals recoverable damage on block.Breathe. Inhale. Exhale. Now for the Warrior I pose, much like Warrior II, but your hands clasped above you, activating your lungs to truly understand how Arjun uses Breathing Ring, a ring of air made through body and spirit. Arjun can follow up with Breathing Shockwave to send the ring forward as a projectile. The button pressed determines the angle the gust will blow. The OD version of the ring will last longer, travel faster, and hit more times. Your mind is focused since you realize this move deals recoverable damage if blocked.Flow in the Downward Facing Dog pose to engage your core and become a mirror of the Divine Pillar. Arjun blows enough air into the ground to raise the earth into a spire where the strength of the button determines the distance. Hold the button down to delay its activation. A new spire will always replace the last and a spire will disappear if Arjun is hit. Arjun will use this move to apply pressure, especially when you are getting off the ground. If Arjun uses Cruel Shoulder while a spire is active, Justice Beyond activates where he grabs the spire and swings it toward the enemy, regardless of the side they’re on. The OD version of Divine Pillar starts and erupts faster opening up even more pressure tools. Yes, a blocked Divine Pillar and Justice Beyond deal recoverable damage. Now sink into the Bridge pose to simulate what your body will experience when Arjun uses Ghastly Interrogation, a command throw that only deals recoverable damage, but if you already have recoverable damage, it deals normal damage. During the OD version, Arjun takes a step forward before attempting the throw. He will seek to weave this move into the fight to catch blocking opponents off-guard or after a successful Justice Beyond.Turn around and perform the Cat-Cow pose, arching your back up and down to prepare for Indomitable Defense. Arjun uses his yogic breathing to hyper oxygenate his muscles and can walk back and forth in this state. Any strike at him will result in a counterattack dealing only recoverable damage. This also works on projectiles but will not result in the counterattack. While in this state, Arjun can throw both his fists forward to activate Moral Breakdown, a move that is plus and deals recoverable damage on block or normal damage on hit.Arjun’s Level 1 Super Art Howling Destruction sees him mowing you down with quick bursts of breathing technique. Invincible on startup and can easily hit opponents in the air.During Arjun’s Level 2 Super Art Instant

Let’s begin.

Let’s start with the Tree pose. Next, I’d like you to do the Warrior II pose. This move deals recoverable damage on block as well.

Let’s do the Triangle pose next. I want you to stretch that right hand as high as you can to prepare for Cruel Shoulder, a lunging forward tackle. The light and medium versions are not safe on block. The heavy version is slow but is plus on block. The OD version behaves the same as the heavy version but is faster on start-up. You’ve been paying attention because I see you noticed this move also deals recoverable damage on block.
Breathe. Inhale. Your mind is focused since you realize this move deals recoverable damage if blocked.

Flow in the Downward Facing Dog pose to engage your core and become a mirror of the Divine Pillar.

He will seek to weave this move into the fight to catch blocking opponents off-guard or after a successful Justice Beyond.
Turn around and perform the Cat-Cow pose, arching your back up and down to prepare for Indomitable Defense. Arjun uses his yogic breathing to hyper oxygenate his muscles and can walk back and forth in this state. Any strike at him will result in a counterattack dealing only recoverable damage. This also works on projectiles but will not result in the counterattack.

While in this state, Arjun can throw both his fists forward to activate Moral Breakdown, a move that is plus and deals recoverable damage on block or normal damage on hit.
Arjun’s Level 1 Super Art Howling Destruction sees him mowing you down with quick bursts of breathing technique. Invincible on startup and can easily hit opponents in the air.
During Arjun’s Level 2 Super Art Instant Oblivion, he sends you flying into the air and far away from him where he can set up a Divine Pillar.
The last pose I want you to practice is the Happy Baby pose because you’ll want to feel all the joy you can before being struck by Arjun’s Level 3 Super Art Yaksha’s Order. Arjun disrupts your inner ear and has you seeing visions before he performs a cinematic devastating attack.
