Our initial post launch plans for CONTROL Resonant
Hello, CONTROL community! CONTROL Resonant launched yesterday, and we want to take a moment to thank everyone who has picked it up and joined Dylan Faden in altered Manhattan. We hope you’re enjoying CONTROL Resonant and taking your time with it. There's a lot to discover, so we encourage you to explore! Thank you to everyone who has been sharing their impressions with us. We are following your comments and feedback, and wanted to talk about a few things we are working on as we head into post launch. When you beat the main story of CONTROL Resonant, you can still keep playing. Perhaps there’s side quests you haven’t finished yet – or even found out about? You can also discover World Feats, or start it all again in a New Game+ run. The current version of New Game+ enables you to beat the game only once more, but we’re preparing an update that will add... wait for it... New Game++, which means you can start NG+ run after NG+ run, without needing to erase all your progress. Do 665 runs if you want! NG++ should be arriving in October. Photo Mode is coming. Do we need to say anything more? We've seen the comments – we hear you, you want it, and we want to get it into your hands. The Photo Mode for CONTROL Resonant is something we’ve been cooking for a while. We even consulted some talented virtual photographers from the community to help us make it the best it can be. The reason Photo Mode didn’t release on launch is because we needed to prioritize making sure the game was in the best possible shape. We've seen gorgeous virtual photographs you’ve already taken – but once the Photo Mode releases, you can really go to town. We expect to release Photo Mode sometime in November. Have you enjoyed playing dress-up with Dylan? We've seen some... eclectic outfit combinations. You can look forward to more cosmetic pieces for our favorite former coma patient/prisoner/fashion icon in future updates – but more on that closer to the time. You still have to find all the cosmetics for Dylan in the game, and don’t forget about the newsletter exclusive cosmetics and the “test dummy” outfit you can earn by watching the game on Twitch right now! (We know some of you are allergic to spoilers. We won’t be mad if you mute the stream and keep it running in a background tab just to earn the fit. We think it’s worth it.) Thank you again for supporting us for the launch of CONTROL Resonant! We look forward to hearing more of your impressions as you spend more time with the game. Feel free to join our Discord server to chat about the game with our welcoming community. For the latest information on known issues, please visit the CONTROL Resonant Help Center. For technical support, please visit the CONTROL Resonant support section.
