Seek Sunken Treasures during the High Seas of Tamriel Event

Battle ship-to-ship and plunder the ocean’s depths during a new in-game event.
The High Seas of Tamriel in-game event is now live and runs until October 14. During the event period, you can embark on voyages above and below the ocean, battle pirates and monsters of the deep, and loot sunken treasures.

To join the crew and begin your adventure, pick up the starter quest from the in-game Crown Store titled “Raising the Riotous Redress.” Help the ghostly pirate Baron-Captain Olsien Guy Mard to restore his beloved ship and you’ll then update a new event-specific daily quest titled “Bounty of the Abecean Sea.”

Each day of the event, you can acquire and complete the Bounty of the Abecean Sea quest. Note that while this quest can always be completed solo, up to four players can jump in to face the nautical dangers together. Even if you’ve already completed the quest, you can still join a mate’s crew (you just won’t be able to earn the reward for quest completion).
As you and your crew battle upon the waves and plunder the ocean’s depths, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to loot special in-game rewards. 

Deep Plunder Boxes

When completing High Seas of Tamriel quests each day, you will receive a Deep Plunder Box as a bonus reward container, which can contain a random assortment of goodies. Even better, the first time you complete the daily quest on your account each day rewards you with an upgraded Legendary Deep Plunder Box, which grants you 300 Trade Bars in addition to a random selection of other treasures.

Deep Plunder Box rewards have a chance to include:

• Legendary Deep Plunder Boxes only
• Weapon style pages for the Abecean Sea Privateer style
• One of three fragments for the Suncleft Grotto Ornaug mount
• All Deep Plunder Boxes
• Motif style items, crafting materials, crafting quality improvement items, provisioning ingredients, alchemy reagents, or enchanting runestones
• Equipment repair kits or group repair kits
• Antiquity Leads from across Tamriel
• Treasure maps (obviously!)
• XP scrolls for the Antiquity Skill Lines Excavation and Scrying
• A rare chance for unique High Seas of Tamriel-themed furnishings

Abecean Spoils of War Chests

When you successfully complete a ship battle during the High Seas of Tamriel event, you can locate and loot Post-Battle Flotsam floating in the ocean off the side deck. Hauling in this debris brings up an Abecean Spoils of War chest, with a second chest available should you sink the enemy ship!

Abecean Spoils of War chests have a chance to include:

• Sacks of pirate gold, including an extremely rare chance to find 1 million gold pieces!
• Unbound Antiquity Leads for Sellable Antiquities
• A rare chance for unique High Seas of Tamriel-themed furnishings
• A rare chance for a unique High Seas of Tamriel-themed Antiquity Lead

Undersea Adventure Rewards

Once the battle above the waves is complete, you can then delve into the depths of the Abecean. Beneath the ocean you’ll find even more fearsome monsters, but also sunken treasures, too.

Underseas bosses have a chance to reward you with:

• Several different types of unique High Seas of Tamriel-themed furnishings
• Antiquity Leads from across Tamriel
• One of three fragments for the Suncleft Grotto Ornaug mount

Undersea Treasure Chests have a chance to include:

• Several different types of unique High Seas of Tamriel-themed furnishings and furnishing recipes
• Unbound Antiquity Leads for sellable antiquities

Battle beneath the depths

Event Fishing 

Finally, if you're an amateur angler, head to the Gold Coast and find the anchorage of the Riotous Redress near the city of Anvil. The seas churn while the event is live, creating Abecean Saltwater Fishing Holes. Cast a line while these unique fishing locations are available!

During the event period, the Impresario event vendor will be available for those with Trade Bars to spend. This event vendor will stock style pages for the Abecean Sea Privateer weapons in addition to a broad selection of event morphing collectible fragments.

Note that we're making a change in how we make morphing collectibles available. Going forward, all event morphing collectible fragments will remain available on the Impresario permanently until the conclusion of the theme we're currently exploring. So right now, that means all of the Sanguine morphing collectibles we've released this year are available. This will continue into Witches Festival and New Life Festival events, where the first fragments of the Sanguine-themed house will become available.

• All three fragments for the Roseblood Bat pet
• Crimson Bat Statuette
• Red Rose Petals
• Sharp Rosebush Thorn
• All three fragments for the Roseblood Wings Recall customized action
• Embellished Dance Card
• Rosy Boutonniere
• Sanguine’s Goodbye Kiss
• All three fragments for the Thorn’s Bite Withersteed mount

• Gilded Stirrups
• Withered Antlers
