Hi, everyone! Erin, your 2K Community Manager here with a TWoK update. This Week on Kairos is getting a bit of a makeover! Writing this newsletter every week since before launch has been such a blast, and I have thoroughly enjoyed receiving all your fanart and feedback.

We’re flipping the ‘W’ in TWoK to an ‘M’! This Week on Kairos is moving to a monthly cadence to create a robust, one-stop shop with all of the month’s updates in one place. Thanks for riding along on this journey!

With an arsenal of digitized deadly weapons and a deserved air of superiority, you all brought new meaning to the phrase "hack and slash" this past weekend. During the Community Challenge: Tough Love, all you Loveless the Hacker* players sliced, corrupted, and .EXEed your way through a staggering 48,783,633 enemies across Kairos, including the new island map zone of Providence. If you still haven't jacked in as this lethal new Vault Hunter, Loveless the Hacker* and Story Pack 2: FL4K and the Last Resort* are both available now as paid DLC!

In honor of your ruthless lethality, here's a SHiFT code for the "Mint Chipset" Vault Hunter Skin usable by Loveless the Hacker**. Please note that, while this SHiFT code is redeemable by all, you will need to own the Loveless the Hacker DLC in order to equip this Vault Hunter Skin reward onto Loveless:

You can enter this SHiFT code on the Gearbox SHiFT site or via the in-game SHiFT menu in Borderlands 4! This code may be redeemed once (1) per SHiFT account. You can check out the SHiFT User Guide for more info.

And if you weren't able to participate in this Community Challenge but want to try Loveless the Hacker for yourself, here's how to unlock her now:

• If you don't own any version of Borderlands 4: Purchase Borderlands 4 Super Deluxe Edition, which contains both DLC Vault Hunters (C4SH the Rogue and Loveless the Hacker), as well as Story Pack 1 and 2, the Ornate Order Pack, and Bounty Pack Bundle

• If you already own Borderlands 4 Standard or Deluxe Edition: 

• Option 1: Purchase the Vault Hunter Pack that includes both DLC Vault Hunters (C4SH the Rogue and Loveless the Hacker), as well as Story Packs 1 and 2 plus the Ornate Order Pack.

Loveless the Hacker, Story Pack 2: FL4K and the Last Resort, and Bounty Pack 5: Amara and the Vile Shadows arrived on September 10. Remember: both are now available for individual purchase. Our Version 1.10 dropped at the same time and increased the max level cap by 10 levels for all Borderlands 4 players, as well as included plenty of balance adjustments for other Vault Hunters!

Loveless the Hacker: Yes, she’d still love you if you were a Wyrm.

Loveless the Hacker, our all-new Vault Hunter, is now available as paid DLC! To play as Loveless in Borderlands 4, you must own the Loveless the Hacker DLC. Loveless the Hacker is included with Borderlands 4 Super Deluxe Edition and the Borderlands 4 Vault Hunter Pack, and is also available for separate purchase. 

Two minds exist inside Loveless, forming a synchronized set of lethal skills that strike as one. Through a symbiotic melding of the biological and digital, this ex-Anshin hacker-turned-assassin has become a superior lifeform. Equipped with the highest-end cybernetics, Loveless shares her psyche with a digital virus of her own creation, which can digistruct into a physical Wyrm form to act as a deadly extension of her shared, perfection-seeking will.

Loveless' abilities are aggressive and agile, using a cybernetic arsenal to cut down enemies with Corrosive and Radiation damage. Throw her Plague Star shuriken to slice through mobs while spreading a withering Contagion, outsmart opponents with the stealthy misdirection of her Visual Paradox Nexus that can cloak Loveless and spawns a decoy in her place, or sic her Malignant Construct on targets and watch your symbiote Wyrm companion eradicate them with its tail whips and toxic breath. Loveless' Action Skills have added utility through low-cooldown power spikes called Functions and high-impact finishers called Executables.

Welcome to the jungle, where a tropical resort made for the Timekeeper's chosen is about to become a warzone. Team up with FL4K, an unequaled beastmaster who lives for The Hunt, to save their loyal skag companion Mr. Chew and teach the Tediore corporation a brutal lesson about primal nature.

On the remote island of Providence, upper-echelon Electi once vacationed in a luxurious retreat neighboring lush wilderness and a majestic volcano. In a ploy to secure Providence's precious Ordonite resource, Tediore has sent an expeditionary group led by five elite managers who serve the ruthless Lieutenant Harmony.

Venture into the verdant wilds and aid FL4K and their pet in the urgent fight against Tediore. Hunt down the managers however you see fit and show them that Vault Hunters can never be tamed.

This content is recommended for Vault Hunters of level 13+. In order to access the Providence island, you'll first need to complete the "A Lot to Process" mission in the Fadefields. You can also roll a new Vault Hunter that starts directly at the FL4K and the Last Resort content at level 13.

Once you've acquired Story Pack 2: FL4K and the Last Resort and have completed the "A Lot to Process" mission, you can initiate the Story Pack 2 content by interacting with the distress beacon near The Bones of Sanctuary in the Terminus Range. It will also be marked on your ECHO map as a new mission.
