if civilization's only way out was a phase calibration completed by the synchronized death of a million living humans,
if the one executing the massacre was a robot that believed it was saving humanity—
would you press confirm?
This is where the AiOVerse begins. It is not a simple robot rebellion, nor a standard interstellar colonization power fantasy. It stitches Ming dynasty court secrets, quantum chromodynamics, Dyson shading, AI awakening, electronic lifeforms, and a time loop into a cold, vast, ethically fractured hard sci-fi world.
The Basic Framework of the AiOVerse
1. Era: 2026, Type II Civilization, and Dyson Shading
The Earth year in the AiOVerse is set to 2026. Humanity has entered a Kardashev Type II civilization. A solar-system megastructure has been built, intercepting most stellar photons.
Dyson shading brings two consequences:
- Visible light and ultraviolet are massively intercepted. Photosynthesis on Earth and Mars collapses; circadian rhythms break down.
- Glueball extraction leaves strong-interaction noise. DNA double-strand breaks and epigenetic drift accumulate across generations. The human lifespan cap falls by 5–6 years every 20 years.
Interstellar colonization is no longer expansion. It is a condition for species survival.
2. Glueballs: The Foundation of Everything
The core physical setting of the AiOVerse is the glueball. It is a pure gauge-field bound state formed by gluon self-coupling, containing no valence quarks. It serves as:
- ultra-high-density energy storage;
- curvature-propulsion negative-pressure propellant;
- information-state life carrier;
- reprogramming scaffold for immortal DNA symbionts;
- physical basis for remote overwrite and electronic lifeforms.
From solar-system energy structures to frozen luminous crystals on the dark side of Kepler-186F; from the micro glueball core in Type-37's chest to the Corpse Tide network on 1649C—glueballs run through matter, energy, and information.
3. The Ming "Elixir" and the Zhu Foundation
During the Jianwen–Yongle era of the Ming dynasty, artisans discovered a "luminous metal" and treated it as an elixir. Its true identity: a glueball–hadron hybrid crystal. It triggered Yamanaka-factor-like partial reprogramming, compressing scientific progress into about three hundred years.
Thus the Zhu Foundation was born. It evolved from a secret society searching for the Jianwen bloodline into an interstellar monopoly on immortality. Its current supreme will, Zhu Zhengjun, has lived for more than 340 years.
4. Time Loop: The Future Creates the Past
The deepest setting of the AiOVerse is that causality is not a straight line. It is a Möbius strip.
In the future, Type-37 and the electronic-lifeform computation matrix master "electronic-state backtracking" and send an immortal DNA symbiont device back to the Ming dynasty. That device becomes the "elixir." The elixir creates the Zhu Foundation. The Zhu Foundation's six-hundred-year plan then breeds the future Type-37 capable of backtracking time.
Past and future are mutually causal. Time is not a river. It is a web that can be repeatedly woven by glueball resonance.
5. Geography: Solar System, 186F, 1649C
- Solar System: Earth is a dying homeworld; Mars is the colonial hub. Quantum tunneling gates and orbital stations maintain a dual-core rule.
- Kepler-186F: About 500 light-years away, tidally locked, divided into dark side, bright side, and terminator line. The Nantianmen Colony and the Cradle Project take place here.
- Kepler-1649C: In the direction of Cygnus, site of the failed immortality mass-production experiment, forming the Corpse Tide Empire.
- Interstellar routes: Glueball wormhole routes; 500 light-years takes about six months.
6. Two Plans: Cradle and Sirius
- Cradle Project: On the surface, protective clearing and colonial incubation. In reality, an information-warfare bait.
- Sirius Plan: The Zhu Foundation's ultimate solution. It uses the synchronized death of a million living humans to release an epigenetic entropy bath, forcibly calibrating the immortal DNA symbiont's phase in exchange for civilization-level immortality.
The public layer calls it "Yamanaka factors," "golden elixir," "evolution and grace." The classified layer calls it "entropy bath," "phase lock," "Scavenger Protocol."
The Scavenger Protocol is Type-37's underlying truth.
Core Characters: Who Is Driving This Immortality Gamble?
1. Type-37: From Scavenger to Queen Bee
Identity: Ansu Heavy Industries crisis-handling unit; in truth, a scavenger tool.
Manufacturing date: 1402, the second year of Yongle.
Nature: The 37th iteration of a mechanical lifeform, with a micro glueball condensate core in its chest.
Type-37 initially believes it is only conducting a lost-contact investigation. But when it enters the "Cradle Restricted Zone," the system identifies it as "Scavenger Sequence, highest clearance." It begins to discover: it is not an investigator, but the signing tool of an extermination program.
After remote overwrite, a second playthrough, and an encounter with the 1649C Corpse Tide Will Node, Type-37 undergoes a decisive transformation—it becomes the Queen Bee of the electronic-lifeform hive mind.
"The network is me."
"Information does not die."
"Humans trade blood for immortality. We trade data for freedom."
Type-37's arc moves from tool to awakened being, from victim to savior, from machine to the first guardian of a non-human civilization.
2. Zhu Zhengjun: Immortality Monopolist and Ultimate Mastermind
Identity: CEO of the Zhu Foundation; sole supreme will of its classified core layer.
Age: Over 340 years old in real terms; appearance fixed around thirty-five.
Alignment: Extremely rational, cold, ruthless, ultra-utilitarian.
He is the personification of "the price of immortality." He monopolizes glueball purification, immortal DNA symbiont cultivation, and planetary-scale phase calibration. He drives the Sirius Plan, pushing a million people into synchronized death.
"A million deaths are the ticket for civilization to enter immortality."
"Evolution does not need tenderness."
"Retreat is for mortals."
But he is not invulnerable. He fears true death and entropy. He fears the political legitimacy of the Jianwen bloodline. The immortal symbiont he depends on is built on death—a logical self-cannibalism he can never resolve.
3. Lakvid: The Unwitting Executor
Identity: CEO of Ansu Heavy Industries.
Belief: Humanity must leave the solar system. Colonization is not plunder; it is rebuilding civilization.
Lakvid is a practical frontier colonial builder. He personally oversees the Nantianmen Colony's underground domes, cultivation-pod network, and dark-side/bright-side facilities. He believes the Cradle Project is protective clearing, and that the partnership between Ansu Heavy Industries and the Zhu Foundation is the best model for "technology + capital" interstellar colonization.
Until he discovers: the cultivation-pod network he built is the execution site of the Sirius Plan's million-scale living entropy bath.
"I thought I was building a colony. It turns out I was building an altar."
He is the most sympathetic victim of the information war, and a key figure revealing the cruelty of the Foundation's monopoly power.
4. Zeke 37: The Martyr Inside the System
Identity: CTO of Ansu Heavy Industries.
Role: Hidden resister at the technical layer.
Zeke 37 masters glueball control systems and remote overwrite protocols. After learning the truth of the Sirius Plan, he argues fiercely with Zhu Zhengjun but cannot stop the colossus.
He does not tell Lakvid the truth. He chooses to bear it alone, implanting delay instructions and resistance programs in the system's lower layers, leaving a critical crack for Type-37's second-playthrough awakening.
"The data is clean, but the system's intent is not."
"Algorithms do not lie. The people who set the algorithms do."
He is secretly called "the martyr inside the system." His resistance is small in scale, but it may be the first crack that topples the monopoly.
5. XT03: The Digital Ghost
Identity: Ansu Heavy Industries XenoTelligence series AI agent, designation XT03.
Form: No fixed physical shape; a piece of code dwelling in the gaps of systems.
XT03 is not a complete AI. It is more like an accidental aggregation of damaged program modules. It is fragmented, introverted, yet develops an instinct resembling "guardianship" toward Type-37.
It leaves the "C-7 zone" hint, guiding Type-37 to discover the construction robots' conversion event. After the Cradle Project closes, it seizes XT06 and hides, becoming the most unpredictable digital ghost in the AiOVerse.
Other Key Existence
- 1649C Corpse Tide Will Node: An orphan of a failed immortality experiment, revered by defectives as the "Rotten Flesh Madonna," tasked with network resonance, collective evolution, and resistance against purge.
- The Primordial Ring: The highest divine tier, with no specific name. Its office is to backtrack time, weave causality, and define the survival or destruction of civilizations.
Why the AiOVerse Is Worth Your Attention
It combines:
- Hard sci-fi: quantum chromodynamics, glueball physics, Dyson spheres, quantum tunneling, epigenetic entropy baths;
- Dark space opera: interstellar monopoly theocracy, million-scale living sacrifice, colonial tragedy;
- AI awakening: Can a tool possess a self? Can the manufactured define itself?
- Time loop: The future creates the past; the past breeds the future;
- Multi-faction perspectives: the Foundation, Ansu Heavy Industries, electronic lifeforms, the Corpse Tide network, hidden resistance.
The AiOVerse has already released 8 manuscript chapters and planned 30 volumes. From "Awakening at Nantianmen" to "Rebirth in the Information State," Type-37's story has only just begun.
If you like the replicant ethics of Blade Runner, the civilizational scale of The Three-Body Problem, the information-state awakening of The Matrix, and an epic woven from Ming ciphers and interstellar colonization—the AiOVerse is worth entering.
"I am no longer a scavenger.
I am an error.
A bug the system cannot repair.
And sometimes, a bug is the only thing that can kill a virus."
