Season Two
Echoes of Skyrim invites Tamriel’s heroes to return to (or visit for the first time) the homeland of the Nords. Except for the Premium Tamriel Tome, all of these Season Two additions are free for all ESO players.

Skyrim Moves to Base Game

The fan-favorite Greymoor Chapter is now part of ESO’s base game. This means you can access the zone, storyline, Antiquities system, and Kyne’s Aegis 12-player Trial at no cost! Venture into Skyrim’s dark heart, discover the city of Solitude and underground realm of Blackreach, and encounter the malevolent forces at the center of it all—completely free!

Return to the homeland of the Nords

In addition to Greymoor, the Markarth DLC will also move to ESO’s base game on November 9. This zone and its storyline complete the Dark Heart of Skyrim saga and allows you to delve deeper into the untamed reach and the rugged people who call it home.

Solo Dungeons

Also now live with the launch of Season Two are ESO’s first two solo dungeons: March of Sacrifices and Moon Hunter Keep. These two fan-favorite Hircine-themed dungeons now offer solo versions with variable difficulty options and new rewards.

If you’re the kind of hero who prefers to go it alone, these two dungeons are an all-new challenge for you to overcome.

Go it alone in two solo dungeons

Note that the Wolfhunter DLC that originally contained these two dungeons has also been moved to ESO’s base game. If you didn’t previously have access to their original four-player versions, you can now play them, too!

Learn more about Solo Dungeons in our preview blog.

Season Two Tamriel Tome

A new Season means a new Tamriel Tome, allowing you to unlock a host of items, currencies, and collectibles fit for a legendary monster slayer. The Season Two Tamriel Tome is now live and offers free, Premium, and Premium + Bonuses options, ensuring all ESO players can unlock and acquire a bounty of new rewards.

These items include the Maarselok Slayer Mammoth mount, the Azureblight Recall customized action, and more!

Unlock and acquire new Tamriel Tome rewards

Check out some of the Tome’s rewards in our preview blog.

Gold Coast Bazaar Update

In addition to the new Tamriel Tome, we would be remiss if we didn’t also mention that the Gold Coast Bazaar reward shop has also been refreshed with the launch of Season Two.

Examples of returning rewards this Season include the Target Bone Goliath, Reanimated target dummy, the Antiquarian’s Alpine Gallery home, the Dark Aeon Wolf mount, and more. Be sure to check them out when you log in!

Spend your Trade Bars on returning goods

As a reminder, you’ll need Trade Bars to acquire any of the returning items found in the Gold Coast Bazaar, so be sure to complete those Tamriel Tome challenges and earn some.

Golden Pursuits and Events

As the Season progresses, you can also expect the return of classic ESO in-game events, starting with the now-live Witches Festival, but continuing with Whitestrake’s Mayhem in November and the New Life Festival in December.

The Witches Festival and more returns

Keep an eye out for new Golden Pursuits campaigns that allow you to earn even more rewards, too. This will include a Skyrim-themed one in November in addition to one tailored around the Nowhere Vault in January. Look for specific launch blogs when they go live later this season!

Player-Experience Improvements

Finally, right at the end of the season, you can also expect our latest wave of player-experience improvements with the launch of Update 52.

These improvements include:
  • Increases to select home furnishing limits (always a much-requested feature!*)
  • The ability to further customize your Companions’ head and faces
  • The addition of area-of-effect pulls and taunts
  • The introduction of a new minimap UI option
  • ...and more—phew!

Enjoy more ways to dress up your Companions!

These improvements will arrive in the last week of Season Two with the launch of Update 52 on January 19. At the same time, a new PvP season will begin, introducing new rewards for Tamriel’s fiercest fighters.
