Standalone Application Version Now Available on SteamThank you for your continued support of ACE COMBAT™ 8: WINGS OF THEVE.We are pleased to announce that the standalone application version of the pre-order bonus title ACE COMBAT ZERO is now available on Steam.Please note that this update applies only to players who obtained ACE COMBAT ZERO as a pre-order bonus.Players who do not already own the pre-order bonus will not be able to newly obtain ACE COMBAT ZERO through this change. Migrating to the Standalone Application VersionThe standalone application version of ACE COMBAT ZERO will be added to the Steam Library of eligible players in stages.The standalone application can be installed, launched, and played independently, even on PCs where ACE COMBAT™ 8: WINGS OF THEVE is not installed. Launch Options When Starting ACE COMBAT™ 8: WINGS OF THEVEEven after the standalone application version has been released, the launch options dialog for ACE COMBAT ZERO may still appear when starting ACE COMBAT™ 8: WINGS OF THEVE.If you would like to skip this dialog, please try one of the following methods:Set a Default Launch OptionWhen the launch dialog appears, select "Play ACE COMBAT 8", check "Always use this option", and then press "Play".Once configured, the main game will launch directly without displaying the dialog in future sessions.Disable the DLCIn the Steam client, navigate to:Library → Right-click "ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE" → Properties… → DLCUncheck the Install checkbox for ACE COMBAT ZERO to disable the launch option displayed when starting the main game. Disable the DLC
In the Steam client, navigate to:
Library → Right-click "ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE" → Properties… → DLC
Uncheck the Install checkbox for ACE COMBAT ZERO to disable the launch option displayed when starting the main game.
Save Data Transfer and Sharing
When Playing on the Same PC
Save data created with the previous version is stored locally on your PC.
