Conqueror's Blade: Three Kingdoms New Units Showcase

The Three Kingdoms—Wei, Shu, and Wu—were the era's three defining powers.

In this preview, we will introduce six signature units from these Kingdoms. Which of them will you recruit into your warband, Warlords?

Within the Shu ranks lies a ranged force dedicated to steadily suppressing enemy advances. Wielding repeating crossbows modified by the legendary strategist Zhuge Liang, they can fire ten bolts in rapid succession. These are the Repeating Crossbowmen.

Compared to standard archers, they lay down a denser, more direct barrage. Enemies attempting a frontal assault must first survive a relentless hail of bolts.

In Conqueror's Blade: Three Kingdoms, Warlords can deploy them behind Shield lines, at gate entrances, or on the flanks of capture points to provide continuous fire support for the frontline.

While not designed to hold the line alone, as long as vanguards buy them time to unleash their volley, the Repeating Crossbowmen will make every step forward agonizing for the enemy.

Unlike the Cavalry that charges head-on across the open plains, the Fearless Rangers of Shu are an elite force born for complex terrain.

Excelling in mountainous and forested environments, they specialize in flanking and long-range skirmishing. They rely on their high mobility to find the perfect firing angles, continuously whittling down enemies with crossbow fire before swiftly repositioning along the edges of the battlefield.

In Conqueror's Blade: Three Kingdoms, the Fearless Rangers serve as Ranged Cavalry. Warlords can utilize their incredible speed for hit-and-run tactics, pinning, and flank suppression. With precise bolts, they disrupt enemy formations before their targets can even adjust.

Their optimal combat style is never a direct clash, but relentlessly exploiting gaps in the battlefield to bleed the enemy dry.

The Wei army is renowned for its discipline, heavy armor, and ironclad formations, and the Wei Stalwarts stand as its most unbreakable bulwark. Their mission is clear: hold the ground and secure the frontline.

Whether contesting capture points, defending gates, or blocking chokepoints, they are perfectly suited to lead the vanguard, buying precious time and tactical space for allies.

When facing a relentless push from Infantry or Cavalry, a reliable Shield unit can completely shift the tempo of a specific sector. When you need an immovable wall to stall the enemy advance, the Wei Stalwarts are the definitive answer.

This fearless elite unit embodies the brutal ferocity of Wei's most battle-hardened veterans.

They excel at pushing forward when frontlines clash and enemy formations begin to waver. Using devastating Melee strikes, they tear through defenses, capitalizing on the chaos of the fray to quickly carve deep into the enemy ranks.

In Conqueror's Blade: Three Kingdoms, Warlords can deploy the Bloodragers as a follow-up strike force: secure the frontline with Shields, wear down enemy units with ranged fire, and unleash the Bloodragers to reap a bloody harvest.

Serving as the elite Infantry of Wu, this force approaches the battlefield with a highly specific tactical purpose. Far from a defensive unit, they are the ultimate deadlock breakers.

They thrive on seizing openings once the frontlines clash. The moment enemy formations falter, they strike, driving swiftly into the vanguard and ripping open massive tactical gaps with overwhelming Melee power.

In Conqueror's Blade: Three Kingdoms, Warlords can wield this elite force as a blade to shatter stalemates. Once friendly Shield fronts pin the enemy and ranged fire thins their ranks, the Halberd Elite push forward with relentless momentum. Whether suppressing foes or shattering the line, they remain the decisive edge to turn the tide.

The territories of Wu are deeply defined by rivers and lakes. Thus, unlike the northern Cavalry charging across open plains, Wu legions are masters of riverbanks, naval formations, city battlements, and narrow straits. The Wu Prefecture Archers are a distinct archer unit that perfectly encapsulates this identity.

Positioned on walls, riverbanks, alleyways, or at the approaches to capture points, they unleash crossfire to establish dominance, continuously crippling the momentum of enemy pushes.

In Conqueror's Blade: Three Kingdoms, Warlords can command the Wu Prefecture Archers for long-range attrition, chokepoint lockdown, and flanking support, delivering reliable firepower among lower-tier units.

When enemies attempt a forced advance, the arrows of the Wu Prefecture Archers may not immediately decide the battle, but they ensure that every step forward is paid for in blood.
