Try the Korean War “Black Thursday” Event!
The confrontation between North and South Korea that began in 1950 quickly escalated into a large-scale conflict, with the USSR and China supporting one side, and the USA, Great Britain, and several other nations backing the other. The war marked the first time jet aircraft were used on a massive scale. American B-29 Superfortress bombers dominated the Korean skies, but soon they met a new challenge: Soviet MiG-15 fighter jets!On April 12nd 1951, B-29 bombers escorted by American fighters headed toward northwestern North Korea but were intercepted by Soviet MiG-15s. Casualty figures vary, but the victory belonged entirely to the USSR, with Soviet pilots managing to shoot down several bombers and fighters with no or minimal losses of their own.
