Meta Hotline | Hot Feedback and Optimization Progress Vol. 7
Dear Metas,After the v2.3.7 update, we added the Feedback Hot Charts section to the Once Human Feedback Platform, listing recent popular requests from the community. After logging in to the Feedback Platform, you can like the feedback you support and dislike any feedback you disagree with. The Feedback Hot Charts will display the likes and dislikes of each piece of feedback in real time, and our development team will reference it when deciding on future development priorities. (Feedback Platform link: Once Human Feedback Platform)With each version update, the Feedback Hot Charts will also be updated, after which we will announce our optimization plans and progress for issues that charted during the previous cycle. Your suggestions are important to us, and we hope the Feedback Hot Charts will help us communicate and share our development plans and progress more openly.Today is the release day of the 7th Meta Hotline! As of August 5, the Feedback Hot Charts standings are as follows: Thank you all for taking part. Every piece of feedback, every like, and every dislike helps the dev team better understand which needs matter most from the player perspective. Below are the follow-up details for this cycle's top suggestions.\[Top Suggestion - Dungeon Rewards] Add More Rewards to Dungeons\[Optimization Progress] Adopted, development priority significantly raised. In this edition of the Feedback Hot Charts, "Add more rewards to Dungeons" takes the top spot with the highest number of likes, and we can feel strong attention and expectations regarding dungeon content and the reward experience. In fact, whether reward distribution matches the pacing of gameplay has always been a key focus of ours. The dev team will continue to monitor the actual performance of various live game modes and evaluate related reward outputs based on participation, completion cost, and reward acquisition experience. We'd like to update you that upcoming dungeon content will undergo significant changes, iterations, and upgrades, and brand-new dungeons will also be launched. We will plan matching reward content alongside the dungeon experience adjustments, so that reward pacing aligns better with the gameplay experience, bringing everyone a more fulfilling dungeon experience that is also more worthy of the challenge. As these adjustments involve a considerable amount of content, we still need to further confirm the specific implementation plans and conduct sufficient development and verification. The relevant work is currently in full swing, and we have also significantly raised the development priority of this content. We kindly ask you to bear with us a little longer.\[Top Suggestion - Fusion Chamber] Add Deviation Fusion Pods\[Optimization Progress] We will not be increasing the number of Deviation Fusion Pods for now. We have received feedback from some Metas hoping to add more Fusion Pods in addition to the existing ones, allowing multiple groups of Deviations to be fused at the same time and reducing the waiting and operational costs. We carefully evaluated this request. Deviation fusion is an important evolution mechanic, and the input-output and pacing planning during fusion are part of the evolution experience itself. The current single Fusion Pod setup is precisely meant to encourage Metas to make more targeted trade-offs and arrangements when fusing. Adding more Fusion Pods at the same time could noticeably change the current pace of Deviation evolution, and the actual benefits it brings still require further observation. At the same time, we also noticed that opinions among Metas on this request are divided.Considering all the above factors, we currently do not plan to add new Deviation Fusion Pod feature. We will continue to monitor feedback in this direction, and if related demand becomes more concentrated and clear, we will include it in our evaluation again. \[Top Suggestion - Abyssal Touch] Abyssal Touch Should Support Hiding Tentacles\[Optimization Progress] Adopted, expected to be released within two months. We have received feedback from many Metas regarding the \[Abyssal Touch] Fashion: in some cases, the tentacles of this Fashion block the view, so it's recommended to add an option to hide the tentacles, making the visual presentation cleaner and reducing interference with the normal view during gameplay. We carefully evaluated this request. As an important way for Metas to express their individuality, Fashion should also avoid affecting the actual gameplay experience while ensuring its visual effects. This feature is currently in development and is expected to be released within two months. At that time, Metas can actively change the retracted state of the tentacles, which also applies in situations such as driving or lying down. \[Top Suggestion - Map Pins] Batch Remove Custom Map Pins\[Optimization Progress] Adopted, expected to go live within 6 months. Today is the release day of the 7th Meta Hotline! As of August 5, the Feedback Hot Charts standings are as follows:
Thank you all for taking part. Every piece of feedback, every like, and every dislike helps the dev team better understand which needs matter most from the player perspective. Below are the follow-up details for this cycle's top suggestions.
\[Top Suggestion - Dungeon Rewards] Add More Rewards to Dungeons
\[Optimization Progress] Adopted, development priority significantly raised.

\[Top Suggestion - Fusion Chamber] Add Deviation Fusion Pods
\[Optimization Progress] We will not be increasing the number of Deviation Fusion Pods for now. Adding more Fusion Pods at the same time could noticeably change the current pace of Deviation evolution, and the actual benefits it brings still require further observation. Considering all the above factors, we currently do not plan to add new Deviation Fusion Pod feature. We will continue to monitor feedback in this direction, and if related demand becomes more concentrated and clear, we will include it in our evaluation again.
\[Top Suggestion - Abyssal Touch] Abyssal Touch Should Support Hiding Tentacles
\[Optimization Progress] Adopted, expected to be released within two months.
\[Top Suggestion - Map Pins] Batch Remove Custom Map Pins
\[Optimization Progress] Adopted, expected to go live within 6 months. During daily exploration, Metas often mark a large number of custom pins on the map. Currently, Metas can only handle them one by one on the map, lacking a centralized management method, which makes organizing them quite cumbersome. As a result, many Metas hope to add a feature for unified management of personal map pins, allowing for more efficient viewing, editing, and cleanup. We fully understand this need. Map pins are important tools for Metas to plan routes and record objectives. A more centralized and efficient pin management system can effectively reduce organization effort and make map pins more convenient to use.
After evaluation by the dev team, we will adopt this suggestion. The relevant features have been incorporated into the development roadmap and are expected to go live within 6 months.
\[Top Suggestion - Voice Chat] Add Hive Voice Chat
\[Optimization Progress] We will not add a Hive voice channel for now, but will gradually integrate voice chat functionality for PC. In this round of popular feedback, many Metas hope to add a voice channel for Hive to make communication between team members more convenient and efficient. We fully understand your need for real-time communication during collaboration.
At present, the dev team does not plan to add an always-on real-time voice channel. We will prioritize the improvement and rollout of voice input features across platforms: mobile already supports sending voice messages, and the upcoming console platform will also support this feature. PC does not currently have this functionality, but we will later introduce voice input features, including for Hive. By then, Metas on PC will also be able to easily communicate via voice messages with teammates and companions in channels.
The relevant features are currently in progress. We will keep you updated on the specific release timeline through announcements.
\[Top Suggestion - Tech Research] Skip Tech Research Completion Animation
\[Optimization Progress] This has been optimized and went live with the August 5 version update. Many Metas have given feedback that every time they complete Tech research, they have to watch the completion animation, and hope to have the option to skip the animation for a more efficient and smooth process. We fully understand this request. For Metas who need to conduct Tech research frequently, being able to skip the animation can effectively reduce waiting time and improve the overall experience. We'd also like to synchronize this update with everyone: this optimization is now officially live in the August 5 version update. The Tech research completion animation will no longer play repeatedly, allowing Metas to enjoy a smoother research experience.
We appreciate the active feedback from Metas, and welcome everyone to continue sharing your actual experience after trying it out. If you find any areas that still need improvement during use, we will continue to follow up and optimize.
That's all for this Meta Hotline. Your feedback, including your likes and dislikes, is the foundation of Once Human's continued development. We will continue to monitor the Feedback Platform and listen closely to your views. Please keep sharing your honest opinions via the Feedback Platform. Your suggestion may make the next Hot Charts!
