For starters, both analog sticks are equipped with SCUF's Endurance TMR sensors. TMR joysticks are a step up from Hall Effect. Although both use electromagnetic technology with no moving parts and thus are highly resistant to stick drift, TMR joysticks offer finer control, higher precision, and are more power efficient. They also cost more to manufacture, so they're only found in top-grade controllers. The D-pad and face buttons are equipped with clicky Omron mechanical switches which provide satisfying tactile feedback. The L2/R2 triggers are dual action with two separate trigger stops. With a flip of a switch, you can choose between a short-throw "mouse-click fast" action or the more standard full-throw action. There are also six additional buttons - four rear paddle switches and two side buttons (exclusive to SCUF) - that can be depressed without your thumbs ever leaving the thumbsticks. As if that still wasn't enough inputs, five "G-Keys" are positioned along the bottom edge of the controller, with two of the keys being programmable via the SCUF mobile app. Note that this controller is also compatible with PC.The VALOR PRO Wireless Is SCUF's Best Xbox Controller The VALOR PRO Wireless is SCUF's best pro controller for Xbox. The front-facing layout mirrors the tried and true Xbox asymmetrical control scheme with XY/AB face buttons. Much like the Omega, this officially licensed Xbox controller has pretty much every available feature to wipe out the competition including SCUF's Endurance TMR joysticks, Omron mechanical switches, dual action L/R triggers, and rear paddle switches. It lacks the side-mounted buttons and G-keys of the Omega, but the VALOR PRO does uniquely feature tri-mode connectivity (wireless, wired, and Bluetooth) alongside Corsair's low latency SlipStream technology. Note that this controller is also compatible with PC.The VALOR PRO Wired TMR Is an Outstanding Value If you do not need wireless connectivity, then the VALOR PRO's wired TMR value will save you loads of money. It retails for $99.99 but currently on sale for $89.99. This controller is identical in design and features to the wireless version except for, obviously, the lack of tri-mode connectivity (since there's no wireless or Bluetooth option). Instead, the controller connects to your Xbox or PC via a detachable USB Type-C cable. Many old school gamers still swear by wired connectivity since it eliminates any input lag concerns, and this controller is perfect for them.The Envision Pro V2 Is Exclusive to PC Gamers Both the Omega and Valor Pro are PC compatible, but SCUF carries one more wireless PC controller that's a bit more affordable. The Envision Pro V2 looks more like an Xbox than the PS5 controller because of the XY/AB face buttons, but it adopts technologies from both. The joysticks are equipped with Hall Effect magnetic sensors, not quite as precise as TMR but a big upgrade over traditional potentiometer-based analog sensors.
