Runescape has undergone many changes since its humble days as one of the biggest free-to-play MMORPGs. Now its gearing up for its newest expansion which looks to take the game in a different direction. Announced via press release, Havenhythe Part II is Runescape’s biggest largest ever area-expansion in 25 years. The new, members-only content introduces four brand-new areas to explore, a climactic battle to defend Havenhythe from the Sanguine threat, and a whimsical standalone Bangolin quest. The area is said to be a “haven for players who are questers, fighters, or skillers alike.” Havenhythe Part II will combine the sense of epic world building that fans of Runescape are familiar with, alongside new activities to further enhance multiple skills, even after the climax of the current Havenhythe storyline.
